Jeff was in the lead going in and presto, the points changed and he was bumped down the list. It sure didn't seem fair, and I'm not sure it's that fair now since the drivers who earned wins get bonus points for those wins going into the Chase. In a sport where NASCAR is trying to make the field fair to all, its nearly impossible for&nbsp;teams with less money to spend, to even compete let alone win a race. The points were the only thing keeping them competitive enough to return each week to fill the field.
